Unlike traditional SEO, AEO targets inclusion inside a synthesised AI response, not a position on a results page.

What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)?

GEO is the discipline of earning citations inside generative AI outputs. Is GEO replacing SEO?

What does an llms.txt file do?

An llms.txt (and its full-text companion llms-full.txt) is a plain-text file at the root of your domain that tells large language models which pages and facts about your brand are authoritative. It mirrors the role robots.txt plays for traditional crawlers but is written in natural language so an LLM can ingest it directly. We publish, version and maintain llms.txt for every client.

Will AEO work for a B2B brand with a niche audience?

Yes - and often faster than for consumer brands. B2B queries are long-tail, decision-stage and high-intent, which means fewer competing sources for an AI engine to choose from.
