ServiceBrand & Identity

One brand, on every surface.

Positioning, naming, logo systems, packaging and the guidelines that hold them together - so a customer meets one voice from the first ad to the invoice. It starts with a fixed-fee Brand Audit, not a logo.

the same four tokens dress all six surfaces - that repetition is what a brand actually is, not the logo alone

Tokens are illustrative. Your system comes out of the audit.

What we build

Four layers. One system.

POS Positioning & Strategy

What the brand stands for, who it is for, and why it is chosen - the one-page truth that every later decision answers to. Drawn before a single logo, because a pretty mark on a fuzzy idea still fails.

NAM Naming & Voice

The name, the tagline and the words the brand actually uses - its verbal identity. A brand that looks one way and speaks another is two brands; we define how it sounds alongside how it looks.

SYS Logo & Visual System

Logo, colour, type, imagery and layout, designed together so they hold as one on a highway billboard and on a browser favicon. Not one logo, but a system that survives every size and surface.

GDL Guidelines & Rollout

The rules a stranger can follow - tokens, templates and clear do-nots - plus the rollout across every surface the brand touches, so it stays itself no matter who ships the next asset.

Why it matters

One voice, or many.

What a customer meets when the brand is a system - and the quiet chaos of a brand that is just a logo.

a logo, not a system
  • The ad, the website and the invoice look like three companies
  • Every new asset reinvents the brand from a blank page
  • Colour and type drift a little further with each vendor
  • The founder is the only one who knows what is on-brand
  • Customers half-recognise you, and half-trust you
a system, held together
  • One voice from the first ad to the invoice
  • Anyone can ship on-brand because the tokens decide
  • Colour, type and tone are the same everywhere, on purpose
  • The brand outlives the person who made it
  • Customers recognise you in a glance, and trust the glance

A logo is a mark. A brand is the same mark, colour, type and voice repeated until a customer trusts them on sight.

How we build

Strategy first, logo last.

01 The idea before the image

We do not open the sketchbook until the positioning is agreed. A brand is a decision about what you mean to people; the visuals are how that decision gets remembered, not a substitute for making it.

02 Designed for the extremes

If the identity works on a 40-foot hoarding and a 16-pixel favicon, everything in between is safe. We test the system at both ends of scale before it ships, because that is where weak marks break.

03 Built to be handed over

The best brand system is one your team can run without us. We ship tokens, templates and do-nots so the on-brand path is the easy path - consistency by design, not by policing every post.

How we work

Define, design, codify. Then roll out.

Brands break when the logo ships before the idea - ours are agreed on paper first, so the design has something to say.

01

Define

week one

The Brand Audit: we read the business, the audience and the category, then a one-page positioning naming what the brand stands for and who it is for, before a single logo is drawn.

↑ Positioning + scored brand audit
02

Design

2-4 weeks

The identity system: logo, colour, type, imagery and verbal voice, designed together so they hold as one on a hoarding and on a favicon, and tested at both ends of scale before sign-off.

↑ Identity system, approved at both extremes
03

Codify

1-2 weeks

Guidelines a stranger can follow: the rules, the do-nots, the tokens and the templates for the surfaces you ship most, so the brand stays itself no matter who makes the next asset.

↑ Guidelines + tokens + templates
04

Roll out

ongoing

The system applied across every surface the brand touches, from ad to packaging to invoice, with us on hand as guardians as new surfaces get added and the brand keeps meeting one voice.

↑ Rollout across every surface
The engagement

A build, or a brand on retainer.

Every brand starts with the fixed-fee audit; from there, a one-off system build or an ongoing guardian of the brand.

the build

The system

  • Positioning, naming, logo, colour, type and verbal voice
  • Tested at both extremes of scale before it ships
  • Guidelines, tokens and templates your team can run
  • Audit fee credited against the build when you proceed
rollout

Every surface

  • The system applied from ad to packaging to invoice
  • Packaging and print with real production specs in mind
  • Templates for the surfaces you ship most, ready to use
  • One standard across every asset that leaves the door
guardian

Held on retainer

  • We stay as the keepers of the system as it grows
  • New surfaces designed on-brand, not improvised
  • Guidelines kept current as the brand evolves
  • One voice defended, quarter after quarter
Week 1

Define

Positioning agreed on paper - the brand knows what it means before a logo is drawn.

Weeks 2-6

Design & codify

The system built and tested at both extremes, then written up as guidelines a stranger could follow.

Ongoing

Roll out

Applied across every surface, kept current, defended as one voice as the brand grows.

FAQ

Questions we hear first.

Short answers, no fluff. If yours is not here, write to us at team@buzzard.pro and we will respond within one working day.

01

What does a brand and identity engagement include?

Positioning and strategy, naming and verbal identity, the logo and visual system, packaging where the brand needs it, and the guidelines that hold it all together - so a customer meets one voice on every surface, from the first ad to the invoice. One senior team builds the whole system.

02

Do you do a full rebrand or just a logo?

Both, but a logo alone rarely fixes what a brand actually needs. The Brand Audit says whether you need a full system, a refresh or just a sharper logo - and we scope to that, rather than selling a rebrand you did not need.

03

How is the identity delivered so our team can use it?

As a guidelines system a stranger could follow: the logo files in every format, the colour and type tokens, the do-nots, and ready-made templates for the surfaces you ship most. The brand stays itself no matter who makes the next asset.

04

Do you handle naming and the verbal side, not just visuals?

Yes. Naming, tagline, tone of voice and the words the brand actually uses are part of the identity, not an add-on - a brand that looks one way and speaks another is two brands. We define how it sounds alongside how it looks.

05

Can you design packaging and print, not just screen assets?

Yes. Packaging, print and physical collateral are designed with production specs and real materials in mind, so the brand holds in the hand as well as it does on screen. Large OOH and print production runs through the Buzzard Pro OOH and print studio.

06

Who owns the brand assets and files?

You do - full ownership of the logo, system and source files transfers on delivery. Any licensed typeface or asset is listed in the delivery note with its licence terms, so there are no surprises later.

07

How long does a brand build take?

The Brand Audit and positioning take the first week; a full identity system typically runs four to eight weeks depending on scope, with packaging and rollout templates added to that. You approve the direction before the detailed design begins.

08

How do you make sure the brand actually gets used consistently?

Consistency is a system problem, not a willpower problem. We ship tokens, templates and clear do-nots so the easy path is the on-brand path, and we can stay on as the guardians of the system as new surfaces get added.

Start here

The audit comes first.

Everything else follows it. One-week Brand Audit - fixed fee, creditable against the build. You see where the brand is drifting, what it should stand for and the first moves to make before you commit to a full system - and if all you need is a sharper logo, we say so, not a rebrand.
